Springkell House is committed to supporting its staff to be the best that they can and in the most recent inspection Investors in People report dated 1st March 2017, it maintained the Silver standard.  The inspector was impressed with the leadership at Springkell House and all that is done to support staff to become the best that they can be.  They commented:

“The Manager at Springkell (together with her team) is evidently committed to making the home a great place to live for the residents as well as a great place to work for the staff. Springkell has held the Investors in People accreditation for almost 10 years and it is now an integral part of the culture.

“The manager and senior staff are evidently passionate about what they do and motivating people to deliver the home’s objectives; they lead by example and are willing to be hands-on when required (and this approach makes them well-respected); there is also an open management culture and regular communications where information is shared and ideas for improvement are encouraged; this has created a sense of involvement.”
